Have I told you lately that I That I no longer feel lost without you Yeah and have I told you lately that I I guess we’re better off, I’m better off without you It’s 7:30 and the clock keeps ticking by I remember how it felt that night It takes me back to a place and time When I couldn’t get you off my mind But now hey, can you hear me cuz I’m singing I’m singin’ in your radio Have I told you lately that I That I no longer feel lost without you Yeah and have I told you lately that I I guess we’re better off, I’m better off without you Where did the time go and where have my thoughts run off to Because I think you’re so pathetic, it took some time for me to understand that All I ever wanted was the truth and now that I’ve got it I tip my glass, here’s to you Do you taste, taste that sweetie, it’s my time to say goodbye Have I told you lately that I That I no longer feel lost without you Yeah and have I told you lately that I I guess we’re better off, I’m better off without you I’m so glad you’re gone away Have I told you lately that I That I no longer feel lost without you Yeah and have I told you lately that I I guess we’re better off, I’m so much better off without you

Open me up, pour me out, are you thirsty enough for a taste of this? And I promise I’ll go once your glass is empty and we’re through It’s all in my head… It’s all in your head, they said… These days, when I think about them I can’t help but to remember about all of those late nights Driving down the 495 and I’ve got the radio blasting all of our favorite songs With no place in mind, right by my side, but now you Turn off the light and just say goodnight When I think about all of those times I had that dream again, it’s 2am, no I’m not ok, I’m not doing fine Could you please just, could you please just change your mind? Cause I don’t think I’m making it out of this in time I asked them what’s going on inside of my head They said take this pill but I don’t know where the story ends I’ll try to pretend, close my eyes and hit this bed Don’t wake me up now (because I can’t another goodbye) Don’t wake me up now (because I can’t take another night) When I think about all of those times I had that dream again, it’s 2am, no I’m not ok, I’m not doing fine Could you please just, could you please just change your mind? Cause I don’t think I’m making it out of this in time And when I wake up from this nightmare, is this really over? Because I’m gripping my pillow tight and you’re all I see The hardest part is letting go They said the hardest part is letting go Open me up, pour me out, are you thirsty enough for a taste of this? And I promise I’ll go once your glass is empty and we’re through And why, can’t you please just, can’t you please just change your mind Cause I don’t think I’m making it out of this in time

about

Long Island, NY has a long and storied history as a hub of underground punk and with their debut single, GONE STEREO, has added the first page to their chapter. "Don't Think I Forgot About You" is an early 2000s pop-punk flashback reminiscent of MxPx, Autopilot Off, The Ataris or Allister to name a few. Catchy hooks, driving melodies and memorable choruses make it impossible to not sing-a-long and listen on repeat. B-side “Taste of This” has a pounding mid-tempo beat and soaring harmonies perfect for blasting the stereo with the windows down on a drive into the city for the pop-punk show.
